My wife and I have stayed at smiths mtn hideaway on several occasions. Always had a great experience until this time. The road getting to the cabin is getting worse over the years. Then when we arrived at smiths. The weeds are grown up around the place. Bushes are ungroomed. Then once getting in the cabin after 2 hours we start noticing cockroaches! We contacted faith smith the owner. She advised us to wait until morning and she would spray. We advised we wanted to leave. She would not refund our deposit and told us there was no reason for us to leave. They would spray in the morning. She did refund everything but our deposit. She down played the whole cockroach situation and I don't trust she will get them taken care of! Horrible experience never to return
