One of my favorite places to visit. It never fails to disappoint.
The only complaint our family had about this kiosk was the older gentleman Ranger who couldn't be bothered to even get up out of a chair and be polite to the numerous people who were there visiting. Otherwise it was an amazing experience.
Come prepared to put in some work on that bike!! Some of the grades are steep. Don't be afraid to walk your bike up. There's a bike rental area for a decent price if you don't own a bike. It's a beautiful trail - you'll probably see some wildlife too.
Really nice people working the kiosk. You can get some free information and nice payed for books and maps.
Bike the loop, don't ride in a car - you'll be able to see much more and go at your own pace on a bike. *The loop is closed to cars on Saturday mornings until 10am. I started at 8am and finished at 10:30am (stopped several times to rest/take pictures)*
