What an excellent experience! We've done a few places in the smokies. This was by far the best. We are a family of 4. The girls were fitted with helmets. The staff in the stable was amazing. We had William and Princess as our guides. William was awesome! We would do it again for sure! Gorgeous scenery and excellent horses. We rode Silky, Charlie, Blue and Noble. The horses were gentle and smart. Made the experience unforgettable. Great jobs guys!
Me and my family were camping in Gatlinburg and decided we wanted to make the drive to Cade’s Cove. Before we started our trip I researched stables at Cades cove and the reviews were really good, but nothing compared to what we experienced! From the min we got there we were treated by the owner who was extremely friendly and helped us get everyone together and ready! The young man who was our guide was amazing! Down to earth and friendly with not only the adults but the kids too! He kept ensuring me our children were safe and to have a great time! And we did!!! My husband and I enjoyed, and the kids loved it!!! Would recommend this place to anyone! We will definitely be back! Oh and seeing the bear on our ride was just the icing on top of the cake!
Loved this place! Besides beautiful scenery the horses weren't dumb, slow animals...they were well cared for and seemed alive unlike some stables i have been to :) Also our guide was awesome! The carriage ride was also fun for people who are too scared or too old to want to ride horses :)
Highly HIGHLY recommend!!!!! This was such a great experience for my husband and I!!! From start to finish the staff were not only incredibly nice and welcoming but knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. Before we even mounted everything was explained about the horses, how to ride, and about the trail. I'm an experienced rider but a novice could go on the trail ride and have not one issue! Our guide who I believe was William (his horses name is princess) was awesome!!!!! He told us all about the park, things we did not know, took us through gorgeous parks of the park, and what I think would be very comforting to an inexperienced rider-he was always asking how everyone was, letting you know if there was a slight incline etc. The horses were very well mannered, respectful, reliable, comfortable, and sweet-they take care of their riders. You can tell the horses enjoy their job. **Bottom line: awesome experience, beautiful scenery, sweet horses, amazing staff :)
This was the best time I had in the Smokey Mountains. $30/person, 1 hour ride and absolutely stunning. They keep it light and easy so it's great for all ages. Our guide Micheal and his horse Pepper were so sweet and kept it fun. Julia was very helpful in getting us signed up and ready. You have to go here!
