For people visiting the area and biking/driving pass this looks like a cute little artist shop that would be a nice place to visit. Do NOT be fooled! Myself, my Aunt, sisters and cousin stopped in on a bike ride on Saturday and I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Upon walking in, we were greeted by 2 gentlemen who immediately stopped us and said they only sell wood carving supplies so did we need help. Implying we had no other business there. My aunt said "Oh. I'm sorry. It looks like you sell Christmas Ornaments though!" He said "No we don't. You can't afford those. I won them (etc etc etc)". If we all weren't thoroughly embarrassed enough, they had a snide comment for everything, every question, and followed us around the whole store. Guess what. They DO sell other things including Christmas Ornaments (in a box). They mocked my Aunt for wanting to open the ziploc bag to see said ornament. I've never been more appalled by someone's customer service. We left quickly and I urge everyone who is not a wood carver to never visit, especially if you are a female. Ridicule is in abundance there, kindness and things to purchase are not.

I was delighted to get to visit this store. Friendly staff. Great prices. Excellent excellent quality. They deserve so much more than 5 stars. :)

Well, im glad I read the ladys comment below because I thought i was just overracting. I just started learning how to carve and im terrible at sharpening knives so I read their "how to" guide on sharpening a wood carving knife. And the first step says to sharpen with a dang diamond file and then strop it. So i unfortunately spent money there and bought their file and strop. I was still having trouble so i called them. Well i very rude man answered the phone as if i had just ruined his day by calling. Well the dude scoulded me for using a diamond file on a wood carving knife in the first place, you know the same file they sell on their site and instruct you on THEIR guide first. The guy kept talking to me as if i was a third rate citizen. So, to the lady below, they don't discriminate, they are straight runnin jerks to men also, haha. I encourage anyone looking to buy woodcarving supplies to loom elsewhere. I don't see how they're in business treating people like that. Which I hate it cause now i gotta find another woodcarver supply store cause ill carve wood with hopes and dreams before i ever buy anything from this place again.

It visit i will not for get. But want to see a bear

Best dang bunch of folks. Take a class and fall in love with this bunch of carvers! Prices are the lowest and products are the best.
